Journalism: From Campus To Career will feature a panel of national and local journalists discussing the media landscape and how they got into journalism. These journalists include Olivia Nuzzi of The Daily Beast, T. Rees Schapiro and Jahi Chikwendiu of The Washington Post, and Matthew Rosenberg of The New York Times.
We will then be hosting workshop sessions with GW’s Center for Career Services on topics like streamlining your resume and improving your digital portfolio. Juniors and seniors attending the conference will get the opportunity to hear from employers from The Washington Post, National Geographic, and Discovery Communications.
The conference will end with an hour-long discussion with Jake Sherman, co-author of POLITICO's Playbook, the most-read morning newsletter for DC's political insiders.
